GOUACHES, OILS & PASTELS

Mainly a group of vibrant  gouaches & oil pastels all relating to Dave's Byzantium theme. These are intimate but nevertheless powerful images. Recurring motifs, such as trees and figures, that all went on to play a significant part in his large scale oil masterpieces can be found in these much smaller works. Also includes a few small oil paintings.
